WCPO and Cincinnati Children’s are joining forces to help fight childhood cancer Tuesday.

CINCINNATI — The number one pediatric cancer program in the country needs help raising money for the children who are fighting for their lives this holiday season.

WCPO and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center are joining forces to help doctors and researchers fight childhood cancer with a telethon Tuesday evening.

This year, Cincinnati Children’s was ranked the second-best children’s hospital in the country, according to a U.S. News and World Report analysis that surveys 189 hospitals. It earned the top spot for treating pediatric cancer.

Cincinnati Children’s is one of the largest referral centers for children with rare and relapsed cancers, and many therapies used to fight childhood cancer around the world were developed locally.

There are two ways to commit to helping kids with cancer:
